QUESTION
------------------------------------------------------
Scott,

My company has just created a 30 sec and a 60 secound commercial to be
broadcast on cable for recruting purposes. It would appear that if it is
suitable for cable, it ought to be suitable for the Smartphone as well,
right? To get either of the commercials, the marketing department requests that I contact the
cable company to find out what format they need. Would that be true also
for downloading to the Smartphone? Thank you for all the help you
provide.

ANSWER

Hi Walt

Great questions.

Audios would be MP3. Video would be MP4.

I would recommend if you want to sell an audio or video on iTunes that you record a 30 minute show and mention in the middle and at the end what you recommend, then play the commercial.

I also think that an ongoing podcast with the commercial strategically placed would also be a powerful way to expose prospects to your company.

Thanks
Scott
